  • Log in to GeoSnapShot.com using your mobile browser (such as Safari or Chrome).

  • Open the side menu by clicking on the Menu icon > tap the ‘Events’ tab.

The next step is to create your GeoSnapShot shortcut for your Android or iPhone. This will allow you to open GeoSnapShot to capture and upload images using your mobile.

(A) For Android -

Please use the Chrome mobile browser, once you open the “Events” page, tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner, then tap “Add to Home screen”

You will be asked to enter a name for the shortcut, you can enter “Event Dashboard” as the name. Once you’ve given it a name, tap “add” to show on your home screen. Depending on your Android device, it might ask you to tap and drag the icon to add.

The shortcut icon with the GeoSnapShot logo will appear on your home screen.

(B) For iPhones (iOS) -

  • Please login to GeoSnapShot using the Safari browser and open the album.

  • Tap the “Share” icon at the bottom of the screen.

Scroll down in the Share popover that opens up, and tap “Add to Home Screen”

  • You will be asked to enter a name for the shortcut.

  • Tap “GeoSnapShot” and enter “Event Dashboard” as the name.

  • Once you’ve added a name, tap “add” to add to your home screen.

  • The shortcut icon with the GeoSnapShot logo will appear in your home screen.

TAKING PHOTOS ON MOBILE

  • Once you’ve added the GeoSnapShot shortcut to your home screen, tap it and it will open the events dashboard.

  • Tap the “Upload Photos” icon for the specific event to access the Albums page.

  • From here you can either create a new album or upload photos to an existing album.

  • On the “Upload Photos” page, tap the “Add files” button and it will ask if you wish to “Take a Photo”. Using this option does not store the image natively on the device, rather it saves the image in the School’s secure GeoSnapShot Hub.

  • Depending on the device the interface can look slightly different.
