Best Practice for uploading to GeoSnapShot

Upload some test photos
Before your first event it’s best to try the GeoSnapShot system by
creating a test event, and uploading some photos to see how it all works.

See how they look
Make sure to check out how your photos will display to your audience.
Click on the View Gallery icon to view your test photos. You can delete the photos and event after you have completed your test.

File format
Although you can upload any file size you like we strongly suggest
uploading JPEG at 2 to 4MB. The reason for this is that photos this size
can easily be printed in high quality, this file size is a good compromise
between upload speed and quality. Our feedback is that 98% of photos
are only ever shared digitally on social sites and desktop screens.

Have you thought about video
GeoSnapShot supports video as well as photos. Video is a very dynamic
way of capturing action and is highly used for social media sharing (and
therefore sells well).

If you’d like to know more about uploading video please contact support.

Explore GeoSnapShot
We know that shoots can be long and tiring. It’s a really great idea to have
a look around all the options in GeoSnapShot before your shoot to save
the frustration of leaning a new system after a long day on the shutter
button.

Advanced options
We have many advanced options including changing your watermark,
adding sponsor or event logos. We can also provide FTP upload if you’re uploading a very large numbers of photos. If that is something you would like to request please do long before your event so you can test and we can setup your FTP account.

If you need anything or have questions you’ll find a lot of answers and
