What photos cost and how to buy them

Who sets photo prices, how to buy and pay for them, and why GeoSnapShot cannot offer discounts.

Photo prices vary from event to event. Here is how buying works, and who decides what you pay.

Who sets the price?

The photographer or event organiser sets the price, not GeoSnapShot.

How GeoSnapShot fits in: we are the photo platform that sports clubs, schools and event organisers use to share and sell their event photos. We don't attend the event, take the pictures, or decide what they cost — the organiser arranges all of that. It is worth knowing, because it explains why we cannot change a price or offer a discount.

How to buy your photos

  1. Find your event gallery, using geosnapshot.com/find_photos or the link your organiser sent you.

  2. Check the Offers section at the top of the gallery. If the organiser has set up any bundles or discounts for your event, they will be shown there.

  3. Browse or search for your photos.

  4. Click a photo and select Buy or Add to Cart.

  5. Complete checkout.

  6. You will receive a download link by email straight after purchase.

Payment methods

  • Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard and American Express

  • PayPal, where available

  • Other local payment methods, depending on your region

Buying more than one photo

Some organisers offer bundle pricing, or a package that covers all your photos. Any that exist for your event will be shown in the Offers section of the gallery, so it is worth looking there before buying photos one at a time.

If nothing is shown in Offers, this event doesn't have a bundle and each photo is priced individually.

Can I get a discount?

GeoSnapShot cannot offer discount codes or change a price, because we don't set them.

First, check the Offers section of the gallery. Any discount the organiser has already set up will be listed there, and if nothing is shown then none has been offered for this event.

If you still want to ask, contact the event organiser or photographer. The event gallery page usually shows how to reach them — and if it doesn't, reply to the emails the organiser sent you when you registered for the event. They are the people who set the price.

You have paid but can't get your photos

See our article on what to do if you have paid but can't access or download your photos. In most cases they are waiting for you under My Snaps once you sign in with the email address you used at checkout.

Still stuck

Email [email protected] about anything to do with a payment you made to GeoSnapShot, or a checkout that isn't working. For questions about pricing itself, the event organiser is the right contact.
