Before you buy, it helps to know exactly what you will get — and why the version on screen looks different from the one you download.
The file you download
You receive the original photo or video exactly as the photographer uploaded it. Nothing is reduced, compressed or cropped for you.
The GeoSnapShot watermark is removed from the file you buy.
One thing does stay: if the event organiser has added their own event logo — usually in the bottom right corner — that is part of the photo and remains on the file you download. That is the organiser's choice for their event, not something we add.
Why the preview looks smaller or softer
The watermarked photos you browse in a gallery are a smaller version of the original. That keeps the gallery quick to load and protects the photographer's work before it is bought.
It also means the preview is not a fair test of sharpness at full size.
Check a photo properly before you buy
Use the zoom in the gallery. It shows you a zoomed-in view of the photo so you can judge the detail and make a proper purchasing decision.
This is worth doing every time, and especially if you are choosing between two similar shots. The zoom is there so you don't have to buy one to find out what it looks like.
What if the photo isn't sharp?
Photographers shoot events in real conditions — moving subjects, changing light — and not every frame is perfectly sharp. That is why the zoom matters.
Check before you buy. A photo cannot be edited, sharpened or brought into focus after purchase.

Changing your mind is not grounds for a refund. Once you have downloaded a digital photo, you have the product.
Video
Video works the same way — you receive the file as the photographer uploaded it, without the GeoSnapShot watermark.
